West Scotland, June 2009

13-14th June - Kayaking Near Oban

Unusually for Oban (at least when we go there), there was no wind and it wasn't raining. No wind means no waves (sometimes), so the sea in the area was calm, with barely a ripple on it. All around Scotland the rain was lashing down, and we spent three days kayaking in a little bubble of blue sky - well, beneath it, anyhow. Amongst places visited was Insh Island, near Seil. The photos are from the last two days.
