5-7th December - Zürich And Bern

After a few days in Zürich, we took the train to Bern and spent a couple of days looking around and seeing if I could recognise any of it from when I was there aged five to seven. Amazingly, some of it was familiar, and some stuff didn't seem to have changed at all. However, my Swiss German had gone, and I couldn't understand a word the locals were saying.

Next we took the train to Mürren, which turned out to be two trains followed by a cable car followed by another train - all connecting up perfectly of course.
